Curated Hotels

The hotels that most surprised our clients in 2025

Curated Hotels

The most famous hotel isn't always the most memorable. Curation is knowing when to stray from the obvious — and what you'll find when you do.

Throughout 2025, our team accompanied clients across more than 30 destinations. Some hotels delivered exactly what they promised. Others went further. These are the properties that surprised us most, not for being merely luxurious, but for making our clients never want to leave.

Rosewood Le Guanahani — Saint-Barth

It sits on a private peninsula on Grand Cul de Sac bay, one of the rare addresses in Saint-Barth framed by two beaches: a calm lagoon on one side, open sea on the other, right where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean. Acres of tropical gardens, bungalows spread out for total privacy, and a team that knows every guest's name before you say who you are. A Virtuoso member: upgrades and exclusive benefits reserved through Grossi.

Villa Marina Capri Hotel & Spa — Capri

An authentic early-twentieth-century Caprese villa, restored by architect Massimo Esposito, who dedicated each space to a figure who shaped the island's cultural life: Marinetti, Neruda, Malaparte, Axel Munthe, Edwin Cerio. Its 22 rooms and suites, no two alike, are lined with original artworks and memorabilia of these characters, alongside Italian design pieces and generous bathrooms. The most coveted suites open onto terraces above the Gulf of Naples, each with a private plunge pool. To stay here is to sleep inside Capri's bohemian history.

UXUA Casa Hotel — Trancoso, Bahia

In the heart of Trancoso's historic Quadrado, UXUA Casa Hotel occupies restored old houses built with reclaimed wood and local materials, transformed into one-of-a-kind accommodations by designer Wilbert Das. Each house preserves the essence of Bahia, with pieces by local artisans and an atmosphere that captures Trancoso's unpretentious way of life. A saltwater pool and exclusive access to Rio da Barra beach complete the experience. It's the kind of hotel you realize you'd been searching for all along without knowing it.

Castello Banfi Il Borgo — Montalcino, Tuscany

In the hills of Montalcino, amid vineyards and the classic Tuscan landscape, Castello Banfi Il Borgo occupies a charming 18th-century stone hamlet, carefully restored and transformed into a boutique hotel. Set within the Banfi estate, one of the region's most emblematic wineries, it offers tastings, fine dining and a memorable tour of the facilities where Brunello di Montalcino is born. Just minutes from the medieval town of Montalcino, it is a destination that unites history, comfort and a genuine immersion in the world of wine. For wine lovers, it is a journey worth experiencing at least once.

Rosewood São Paulo — Cidade Matarazzo, Brazil

Built inside Cidade Matarazzo, the former hospital complex where hundreds of thousands of paulistanos were born, now restored and given back to the city. Its soul is two architectures in dialogue: the early-twentieth-century historic buildings and Jean Nouvel's Mata Atlântica tower, built of raw concrete and wooden lattices overtaken by native plants. The interiors are by Philippe Starck, in entirely Brazilian materials, with more than 450 works by local artists throughout. And the food lives up to it: from the 24-hour Le Jardin among the gardens to Blaise and Taraz, with the Rabo di Galo bar and its hand-painted ceiling closing the night.

Mandarin Oriental Bodrum — Turkey

Spread across nearly 60 hectares in secluded Paradise Bay, on the Bodrum peninsula, with two private beaches on the crystalline Aegean, four pools and eleven dining concepts, from Hakkasan's Cantonese to contemporary Japanese. It's a small world by the sea, with a vast spa and a shopping village that gathers the best international labels. For anyone who loves to shop, the resort has Hermès and Chanel boutiques, along with Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Van Cleef & Arpels. Hard not to buy something when the store is a few steps from your room...
