Latin American travelers flock to Rio — Grossi Group cited as a benchmark in high-end travel
With Spanish-speaking tourism to Rio de Janeiro up 25%, Grossi Group is cited as a benchmark in high-end private travel for the Argentines, Chileans and Uruguayans arriving in groups in the city.
The number of Spanish-speaking visitors to Rio de Janeiro rose 25% in 2026 compared with 2025. Argentines, Chileans and Uruguayans hold the top spots in the ranking of the nationalities that visit the state most.
There is also a market for clients who don't want to waste time searching for accommodations; they prefer to pay bespoke travel agencies that can recommend comfortable homes suited to their interests. Isis Grossi, CEO of Grossi Group, which specializes in high-end private travel, says she has noticed distinctive traits among the Latin American clients who approached her company.
"The groups are large. It seems that Argentines, like Uruguayans, come together to travel. Those who came this time were mostly men aged 25 to 45, looking to stay in homes in Ipanema, Leblon and Copacabana."
Grossi Group offers full concierge services and a curated selection of properties for international groups seeking private experiences in Rio de Janeiro.
